On the Road with Rosalyn, Belize!
One of the things we’re most proud of at Social Butterfly Express is our personal connection to travel. SBE grew from the personal passion for travel of Founder and Lead Travel Consultant Rosalyn Cooper, combined with her planning savvy, and she is constantly on the road scouting locations for her destination wedding couples, honeymoons, and even large group trips!

The Grand Caribe Belize!
In October of 2017, SBE Founder Rosalyn Cooper, set off on the 3000+ mile journey from Cleveland, OH to the Grand Caribe Belize resort! This trip was a special one - a group trip organized by The LiveWire Travel Network included travelers from Ohio, Maryland, Florida, and Georgia - all headed to Belize to celebrate Libra birthdays!
If you’re a believer in astrology, you probably already know that Libras are known for their love of new situations, excitement, and adventure. The 5-bedroom beachfront villa the group checked into at the Grand Caribe was the perfect mix of resort-style living, while still providing freedom for the group to design their own experience throughout the duration of the trip.
Although the resort isn’t all-inclusive, the villa did include a full-size kitchen, and some group members were happy to take the opportunity to head into the city to stock up on groceries and cook out on site. The resort is also home to several full-service and moderately priced restaurants - and everyone within the LW group raved about the top-notch service provided by restaurant staff!
The villa included 7,500 sq ft of living space, plus an outdoor entertainment area tacking on an additional 3,500 sq ft. The living room, kitchen, and bedrooms all provided gorgeous views of the Caribbean Sea and the Barrier Reef. Talk about dreamy!
Other amenities available include daily housekeeping service, complimentary laundry service, internet, and even complimentary arrival and departure transfers to and from the town of San Pedro. The villa also comes with 100 ft of private beachfront, a private pier, and private swimming pool and hot tub - the ultimate luxurious yet exciting trip for your big group!
The group had a blast participating in a wide variety of activities - both wild and mild! Mornings began with workout classes held on the beach, and evenings ended with one-of-a-kind sunsets followed by private beach parties. They even had their own personal DJ’s at several of their nightly beach parties!
Other activities the group participated in included snorkeling and sunset cruises by catamaran, both which were highly recommended by the group afterwards.

Priceless Memories
Anybody knows that regardless of your destination, travel provides the opportunity to make memories that will last a lifetime. But one of Rosalyn’s favorite memories related to this trip may be a little different than what you’d expect:
When I first got my passport for this trip, my grandma pulled hers out as well and showed me all the places she had traveled. This conversation with her reaffirmed my passion to travel outside my city limits, whether it be by myself or with others. I couldn’t WAIT to get my NEXT passport stamp!
So sweet, right?!
